The Brigand 8-Pounder, 12-Pounder and 16-Pounders are bosses which appear in the Weald.
From the memoirs of the ancestor, all his experimentations have caused the locals to make legends and stories about his doings. Because of this, awe quickly became ire. The ancestor was able to pay in gold the people for a promise of peace, but the offers was refused. The ancestor chose to go the other way around and hired mercenaries, which brought the canon with them only for dire result. (missing the final memoirs)

Behaviour
The Brigand Pounder spawns with an assortment of brigands to support it. The most important of these is the brigand matchstriker. The matchstriker has ridiculously low speed, but if he acts he is devastating. He activates the cannon and causes it to fire at our entire party. This attack causes crushing damage and should be avoided at all costs. At the beginning of every round, however, the Pounder will spawn an assortment of brigand reinforcements.
